aging gracefully

this is me, working to figure out how to age gracefully. 

recently spoke to a friend who admired her how her mother in law ages - how well she kept her style, how she is independent, yet allow her grandchildren to help her when they offer. contrast to her own mother - who despite gentle hints that her grandchildren would have different style and therefore, may not appreciate the clothes she buys for them - continues to do so and continues to expect the appreciation.

note to self - be independent, but allow help when offered. do not buy anybody clothing!
